Terms of Service

These Terms are published by MHC Health Pty Ltd(ABN 25 664 770 156, trading as MomHomeCare, “we” or “us”). By using this website, you accept these Terms.

1. Who we are, and what this website does

MomHomeCare provides in-home postnatal recovery, pregnancy care and confinement nanny matching in Sydney and Melbourne, carried out in your home by appropriately qualified therapists.

What we provide is postnatal care for families, not a medical or nursing service. We do not diagnose and we do not treat, and we are not a substitute for the advice of a doctor, a midwife or another registered health practitioner.

No transaction takes place on this website itself: we take no payment, place no orders and store no payment details here. It is an introduction and enquiry point.

2. Bookings, payment and cancellation

The forms on this website (consultation booking, nanny requirements, nanny application) are enquiries only; submitting one does not create a booking. We will contact you to confirm the time and the content of the service, and a booking is settled by written confirmation.

Bookings, payment and order management themselves happen on wynssa— a service platform that also belongs to MHC Health Pty Ltd. Anything to do with the formation of an order, charges, wallet balances, refunds, cancellation and rescheduling is therefore governed by wynssa’s terms, as set out on that platform’s pages:

We do not restate the specific figures from those policies on this page, so that the two cannot drift apart later — the version that actually applies is always the one on wynssa.

3. Confinement nanny matching: what we do and what we do not do

Nanny matching is currently open only to MomHomeCare service clients (members). Experienced Chinese-speaking confinement nannies have long been in short supply in Australia, and we give priority to families already receiving postnatal care with us. Non-members may submit their requirements, but that is not a commitment on our part to arrange a nanny for you.

What we provide is an introduction and matching service. The employment or service relationship is formed directly between the family and the nanny; we are not the employer and we are not the agent of either party, and we carry no employer obligations (including but not limited to wages, tax, superannuation, workers compensation and employment disputes).

What we verify: the Working with Children Check (WWCC), visa and work rights, proof of identity, and the experience and qualification material the nanny herself submits. Verification reflects the status of those documents at the time they were checked; it is not a guarantee by us of any nanny’s character, ability or future performance.

What you decide: you interview and make the choice yourself, and you agree the pay, hours, live-in arrangements and other particulars directly with the nanny.

On continuity and replacement support: if a nanny withdraws part-way through or cannot continue, we will help you look for a replacement. The scope, duration and conditions of that support are given to you in writing before matching begins, and that written agreement is what applies.

4. Health and safety — please read this

The recovery content, case records and care notes on this website are general information and support only; they are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
  • Before starting any postnatal exercise or recovery programme, please speak to your doctor or midwife — usually after your six-week postnatal check.
  • Please tell your therapist about your medical history, any surgery, injuries or any symptom that could affect your safety.
  • If pain or symptoms worsen during a session, stop immediately and seek professional advice.
  • In an emergency, call 000.

5. Website content, photographs and intellectual property

The text, design, photographs and case records on this site belong to MHC Health Pty Ltd and may not be republished, copied or used commercially without written permission.

The before-and-after photographs are records of real clients, used with their permission. Please do not download, forward or re-use these photographs in any form.

The day counts, indices and measurements in the case records are copied from the measurements taken on the day. Individual results vary a great deal, and these records are not a promise of any outcome for anyone.

Clinical guidelines, third-party research and external links cited in our articles belong to their respective authors and are provided as they are; a link is not an endorsement by us of any product or service mentioned in it.

6. Information you send us

How we collect, use and store your personal information is set out in ourPrivacy Policy. By submitting a form you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. These Terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any right or guarantee that cannot be excluded under law.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded. If a service has a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund or another remedy. Nothing in these Terms reduces those rights.

9. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us directly first:hello@momhomecare.com.au. For most problems this is the quickest way to a resolution.

Complaints, refunds and compensation relating to orders already completed on wynssa are handled under the quality-complaint process and time limits in the wynssa Cancellation Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and of the Commonwealth of Australia, and disputes arising from them fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If there is a material change, we will update the date on this page and, where necessary, tell you separately. Continuing to use this website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
